What's it all about?

We are a proudly unorthodox, small family business. We love good food and literally lose sleep over stocking the best produce at best value. We follow food politics in the news; the supermarkets don't come up looking too good. We hope to show food retail can be different. We buy carefully to bring you some different and tasty things the big companies overlook. We buy mostly from good, small producers at the Melbourne Wholesale market; in that way we're more like a farmers market than a supermarket.

We aim to provide our customers with really lovely things to eat- and maximum choice; an exceptional range of produce fresh from the wholesale market every day- including a full range of conventional produce and a good range of organics and unusual things.

We have a fresh juice and fruit salad bar.

And a range of local and Italian small-producer/artisan food products like pastas, oils, jams, honeys, biscuits, pickles, chutneys and sauces. We also stock organic milk, butter, yoghurt and eggs.
