What's it all about?
Community garden. This garden provides space for parents and children from our Refugee Women's group and Playgroup to grow veggies and herbs. The garden was created with help from National Green Jobs Corps and Westgate Community Initiatives Group and the rainwater tanks and pump system were supplied through a grant from Melbourne West Water. We are currently (2012) looking for a retired local person who can volunteer some time to help maintain the garden and do regular small repairs.
