What's it all about?
FIG is a not-for-profit community group running a weekly fresh produce co-op at two locations on the Central Coast, NSW.
Our aim is to provide good, safe, chemical-free food to local families, grown locally where possible. All produce is certified organic, Biodynamic or in conversion, with a few lines guaranteed chemical free, largely from farms on Mangrove Mountain and from the Hawkesbury River to Cooranbong, and up to a radius of 160km or so. When we cannot get enough local supply we bring in from further afield. We also encourage our members to grow their own vegies, and buy their surplus, or invite them to have a members table to sell direct.
Come and try a box before deciding to become a member (must be pre-booked) by emailing us on info@fig.org.au. Our Wyong hours are 3.00 until 4.30pm Tuesdays.
