Tania: Wrap up – what I learned

13th April, 2014 —

I have learned that it is not necessary to shop at a supermarket, and in fact, often cheaper not to. It does require a bit more time and organisation though. I will stick with fruit and veg markets and deli’s. I may also keep up getting my dog food from local pet stores instead of the supermarket, as I got great service, and a friendly dog behind the counter!

It is also easy to eat Australian made and grown. However, sticking to just Victoria I think would be hard. I did miss eating tuna though, which is a popular snack of mine. Does anyone know of a brand that does not get sourced from Thailand?

A great week of  doing things differently! I have learned a lot!
