Tess Raine: Days 3-4

10th April, 2014 —

Well, challenge was the right word for days 3 and 4. We managed four local meals – the rest were a disgraceful orgy of convenience food (including a pie!) all washed down with iced coffee and chocolate! Work + school + kids + life = bad locavore! But, onward and upward…day 5 will be better!

Pumpkin soup with coriander fresh from the garden…additional protein kindly provided by the slug!

Brekky for all … Over the Moon Milk banana smoothies sweetened with Peppers Mountain honey

lunch for one…Wauchope Dairy cheese with our own apples (and a handful of orgaic cashews)

Al’s lunch: kale, chicory and rocket with lashings (again) of crushed garlic
