Take
the Local Harvest Challenge
The
Local
Harvest Challenge is running from the 1st - 7th April.
It's one week where people actively seek to eat local
foods, support growers and learn more about where their
food comes from.
Join up as a class and choose a Bite-Sized,
Meal-Sized or Feast-Sized challenge to suit you. Use the
Local Harvest website to find resources close to you. Blog
your discoveries and experiences, learn from others. Sign
up at localharvest.org.au.
If you'd like to help promote the Challenge week through
your networks by distributing some postcards,
please send us an email.
Fundraise
with the 'Ethical Shopping Guide'
You
can help your class and school community make the connections
between the issues they care about and the things they
buy on a daily basis.
Last year many schools successfully raised
money by selling our pocket-guide 'The Guide to
Ethical Supermarket Shopping'. This guide explores
the companies behind common brands and introduces the many
issues connected with our everyday purchases. Your dollar
can be a vote for a better world! See more about using
the guide for fundraising.
