Molly: Local Harvest Week

8th April, 2014 —

I’ve enrolled our family in the meal size, 25km challenge.

Day 1 was easy – we went to the Farmers Market at the Substation and bought yummy local lamb, apples and cheeses.
Everyone’s feeling very optimistic so far!

Day 2 report –  made pumpkin soup from the garden, and a neighbour dropped in with home made hot cross buns!
I love the goal of two things a day – it’s enough to make me aware of our food, but not so much that I get overwhelmed
I hope everyone else is having a delicious week.
