We have an urban farm with bees/honey, trout, leafy greens, herbs and more. Everything is grown onsite and we can only sell by the seasons (honey aside)

What's it all about?
We have (probably) the most extensive aquaponic system in Melbourne and have learnt to grow trout, leafy greens and a range of herbs. Here is a list by season
- July to Sept - watercress. It is difficult for some to grow but it thrives in aquaponics
- year round - leafy greens. They love the nitrogen from the aquaponic system
- March - May. Jerusalem Artichokes. They are a bit of work in the kitchen and when we spend the time we love them as a soup base or potato alternative
- Honey. We don't over-rob our bees and feed them sugar in winter and we allow them to determine their cell size and therefore the size of the bees.
- Lemon and Lime. Much of the year and especially spring.
- Trout. Just before it gets warm around November/December we need to reduce the volume in our ponds and tanks so fresh fish is available. You can even watch as we catch, kill and gut.
- a small amount of eggs in spring and autumn
- Lots of smaller amounts of other fruits and vegies
