Fairfield Farmers Market is an accredited FM on the 3rd Saturday of every month, run by Melbourne Farmers Markets.
What's it all about?
Fairfield Farmers Market proudly operates on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Fairfield Primary School.
Stallholders include growers of free range pork, beef, lamb, goat chooks and eggs, fresh fruit and vegies, milk straight from the farm, handmade cheeses, honey, olive oil, nuts and seedlings. These stallholders are from near and far across Victoria; some you’ll know and others we’ll be introducing, having their first crack at this dynamic way to get their produce direct to their customers.
Fairfield Primary School's council president Geoff Reany says “the school community is looking forward to supporting local farmers who are good enough to do all the hard work and then bring it to our door.”
Coffee, hot chai, BBQ brekkie, pastries, fresh juices and lots more good things to enjoy complete the picture. A neighbourhood farmers market creates a very different environment for household food shopping.
Gold Coin donation on entry that goes towards Fairfield PS projects.
