Up til now, We’ve done the best we could at supporting local producers from the info we could find.
We’ve received aussie farmers deliveries for about 5 years and highly recommend them.
We also love growing our own, although haphazardly, and with a little help from our fowl friends.
When I heard about the idea of getting up a website to connect people and producers, I was very excited and have watched it’s progress with anticipation.
We’re going to check out our local “Ladybird Organics” farm tomorrow,it’s around the corner and we didn’t even know! You can pick your own strawberries, plus buy veg at their farm gate. Very excited.
The funny Melbourne-based quote I have to record was from my son when we talked about going to the farm; he asked ” when will we go to hollywood children’s farm again?”
I wonder if collingwood has ever thought of itself in those terms.
